Award winning wildlife artist Michael Glenn Monroe was at Art in the Loft April 29th,2006 for the Young Artists and Musicians exhibit offering workshops.  Michael is a self taught artist and began his career at an early age.

His publishing career began in 1999 with Sleeping Bear Press when "Buzzy the Bumble Bee" and "M is for Mitten" were published.  His knowledge and experience with landscapes and wildlife were perfect for "M is for Mitten: A Michigan Alphabet".
